About Sal

Sal Morgan began interviewing celebrities at the tender age of 15, on the radio in Brisbane, Australia. After she completed a journalism degree, she talked to stars on TV, wrote about them in magazines and had an entertainment news show that was syndicated on 140 radio stations down under.

Sal covered her fair share of red carpets on home turf then took a trip to Hollywood where she stayed and established herself as an entertainment reporter providing A-list celebrity content to media outlets in Europe, America and Australia.

From Paris to Prince, George Clooney and Jennifer Aniston, Sal has landed exclusive interviews with Hollywood’s elite on the red carpet and in their homes.

Passion, motivation and sheer determination is what has seen Sal live the journalists dream. In 2007 Sal covered the year’s premier awards nights including The Golden Globe’s, The Academy Awards and The Emmy’s live from Hollywood. Sal will continue to cover these events in 2008. Other television highlights have included Red Carpet Events for MTV and VH1 plus Live Showbiz Reports for GMTV, Europe’s biggest Breakfast Show.

Providing a high quality of work through conducting electrifying and fascinating interviews with Hollywood’s top celebrities is what Sal is known for. TVNZ, The Movie Network, Reuters, Channel 9, Universal NBC and Buena Vista International have all actively aired Sal’s interviews and celebrity specials.

Sal’s ability to capture and write about celebrities in a way that shows their true personalities is evident in the cover stories she has written on A-list stars such as; Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson, Renee Zellweger, Mathew McConaughey and Keira Knightley for elite publications including In Style, Madison, Rolling Stone, New Woman and The Sun Herald’s S Magazine.

Celebrity Sal is heard on the Nova Network throughout Australia. She covers celebrity events for The LA Times online and is the US Correspondent for The Movie Network.
